Can we help you?
In fact that is easy to answer because however obscure or severe your issue is, there are some very familiar starting points. For instance, most of our members’ clients simply think too much – and they’re not good thoughts, not useful thoughts.
So we make a lot of progress by teaching people to manage their thinking and beliefs effectively. A lot of our members offer beliefs work in one form or another.
What therapies do we offer?
There is a type of hypnotherapy that is ideal for quick, but time-limited, fixes to things like driving test or interview nerves. This is usually called Suggestion Therapy – but suggestion therapy is not necessarily the best answer long term. Beliefs work is one alternative. There are other therapies that are geared to overcoming trauma of some sort, and times when total liberation can be achieved through re-writing a negative learning buried deep in the brain. The science of Memory Reconsolidation explains the success of what has always been called Hypnoanalysis (free association work) and Coherence Therapy, two therapies that bring about this liberation. Whatever your problem though, we always want to find the most effective answer for you with long-term benefits.
Quick fix or Lasting Fix?
Due to the remarkable ability of the brain to adapt, and the fact that memory reconsolidation often happens so spontaneously, therapy does not have to take long. The point though is that you have to do some of the work yourself. Even our longer programmes seldom exceed sixteen sessions – they take more committment – but offer huge rewards. Our experienced therapists can offer hypnotherapy for simple issues, or a short programme that teaches you loads about how your beliefs and thinking styles constantly trip you up and what to do about it, or perhaps a course of Hypnoanalysis that helps you uncover and change something negative that is rooted deeply in your early experience.
Which therapy is best for you?
This is something that is best sorted out at your first consultation – you can’t decide until you’ve had a good chat and looked at the options and possibilities.
